Skiing, lake tours and brunch are on tap at The Ridge Tahoe for Easter
Easter weekend at Tahoe is when families come up to make their last turns at the ski slopes, take in the spring weather, get in an Easter egg hunt and perhaps a traditional Sunday brunch.
The Ridge Tahoe offers deluxe hotel rooms, junior suites, one and two bedroom condominium suites all within walking distance to the Hilltrac Skier Express which takes you right to Heavenly‘s Stagecoach Lodge/lift for the final weekend of skiing and boarding action.

Easter activities in Tahoe South:
Friday, April 18 is the annual Tot Egg Hunt at Kahle Community Center in Stateline. There will be fire engines, a bounce house, refreshments and an Easter Bunny who will hide eggs for children to collect. Bring a basket to collect eggs and a camera for the photo-friendly day. The hunt begins at 11 a.m.
Saturday, April 19 there is an Easter Egg Hunt at Lake Tahoe Community College. The 47th annual event will be hosted by the South Tahoe Optimist Club, which will hide 2,500 eggs throughout the parking lot near the college gym. Children will be sorted by age group and an area will be designated for children with special needs. There will be prizes. Festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with an Easter costume parade, a 10:45 a.m. Easter Bonnet Contest, and an 11 a.m. Egg Hunt.
You can cruise the lake Easter Sunday, April 20 and have brunch aboard the M.S. Dixie II. Festivities begin with an 11 a.m. departure from Zephyr Cove Resort. The Easter Cruise is a 2-hour Emerald Bay Sightseeing Tour with an Easter Egg Hunt for kids ages 3-11.
Sunday, April 20 is Sierra-at-Tahoe‘s annual Easter Eggstravaganza with family egg hunts, bunny hop competitions and a chubby bunny contest.
Easter wouldn’t be complete without a hearty brunch. Enjoy the special meal with your family at The Hungry Bear Restaurant on site at The Ridge Tahoe. Start off with hot cross buns, fresh fruit and lemon curd before moving onto crab cake avocado Benedict, Belgian waffles, herb crusted prime rib, garlic crusted rack of lamb, or pan roasted Alaskan halibut. Save room for a dessert of chocolate peanut butter dream eggs in a cotton candy nest. Brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
