Three Reasons Why You Should Own in Tahoe
Bill Wright is back again with his final installment about being a Ridge owner. This time around he discusses the reasons why he chose to make the Ridge Tahoe a second home and why you should consider becoming an owner.
Bill Wright has already explained why you should visit Tahoe, which naturally leads him into his next topic: becoming an owner at the Ridge Tahoe.
Though Bill has owned a unit at the Ridge Tahoe for 30 years, his career and family situation has changed, which has led to new reasons why he enjoys spending his free time at the resort.

The convenience of the owner rental program: The owner rental program offers multi-week owners like Bill and his family flexibility with their unit. The Wrights’ situation has dramatically changed and they can unfortunately no longer use their unit’s time as much as they’d like.
Instead of letting the unit sit empty, they now rent out their unit to other guests. The Resorts West Vacation Club enables the Wrights to keep their property by renting it out to other individuals that want to visit Lake Tahoe. This allows Bill and his family to cover annual resort costs while giving new families a chance to experience the Ridge Tahoe. It’s a win-win!
Owners can use the various amenities and services at the Ridge Tahoe.
Bonus time: The Resorts West program not only allows its owners to rent out their units, but they also reward loyalty with various membership advantages like the option to purchase bonus time at other resorts! This bonus time is often at significant discounts during slower seasons, such as fall and spring. This works to the benefit of all owners by helping to cover resort fixed costs on what would otherwise be unoccupied non-revenue generating unit time.
Stability and management: As owners for over three decades, Bill has seen the difficulties and struggles of the hospitality industry. However, he says that through this time he has always admired Resort West’s stable financial condition and their quality management.
