Hop to It at the Ridge Tahoe
Are you feeling a little harebrained coming into the holiday weekend? We don’t blame you! Holidays can be stressful, especially when it comes to planning family events and even more so when you’re traveling. However, if you’ve planned a trip to the Ridge Tahoe and Lake Tahoe this weekend to celebrate, then you can rest at ease knowing that all your holiday plans are taken care of – including an Easter egg hunt!
You’ll be hopping for joy when you arrive at the Ridge Tahoe this weekend. Not only is spring skiing still in effect at Heavenly Mountain, Sierra-at-Tahoe and Kirkwood Mountain (the last week for the latter), but the weekend is also jam packed with great holiday events on-site and in town.
Fuel up for a day of fun and family with our Easter Day brunch, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This brunch caters to children and adults with two full menus to choose from:
- For children 12 years old and under, brunch includes choice of beverage (orange juice, milk or soda); a first course of Easter cross buns with fresh fruits; a second course of either a Belgian waffle with scrambled egg and bacon, country egg platter with bacon and potatoes, chicken tenders with fries, or a cheese burger with fries.
- Adults start off the brunch with Easter cross buns and fresh fruit, followed by a second course with a choice of crab cake avocado benedict with cottage potatoes, Belgian waffles with eggs, bacon and berry compote, herb crusted prime rib, garlic-olive crusted rack of lamb, poached Verlasso salmon, or Ridge shrimp rancheros with corn tortillas, eggs, black and pinto refried beans and grilled shrimp.
Easter isn’t complete without a trip to the dessert buffet. Each menu includes dessert. Bruch is $14 for children and $40 for adults.
The celebration doesn’t stop with brunch! The Ridge Tahoe Elevation Spa and Recreation hosts an Easter egg hunt for children inside the Clubhouse. Kids will hunt for 1,000 total eggs filled with prizes, as well as have an opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and snap photos with him between egg hunting sessions. Kids are advised to keep an eye out for golden eggs. If they nab one of these gilded beauties, they’ll win a special surprise Easter basket! The Easter egg hunt is scheduled for 9 a.m. for children three to six years old and 10:30 a.m. for children seven to 11 years old.
