We Have Your Father’s Day Plans

It’s Dad’s big day this weekend! It’s time to celebrate Pops with father-friendly events and activities in Tahoe and at the Ridge. Look at some of our favorite to-dos for Dad throughout this coming weekend.

Bike at night: The 2017 Tahoe Games Bike Night returns on June 16 at Lake Tahoe Golf Course with family friendly activities that include an illuminated, x-country course. Dad can try his hand at this fun and an exhilarating course that will take him over bunkers and over fairways, all while lit up with glow sticks on a non-motorized bike.

Pick up a game: If Dad’s a golfer, he can enjoy easy and quick access to a number of nearby golf courses including Genoa Lakes Golf Course and Carson Valley Golf Course. Additional options include the exclusive Edgewood Tahoe and the beautiful Lake Tahoe Golf Course. Dad can even practice his short game at the Ridge Tahoe putting greens!

Practice for the real deal at the Ridge Tahoe.

Rock it out: The Heavenly Village Summer Concert Series takes place every Friday and Saturday to showcase the talent of regional and national musicians. As the largest free concert series in Lake Tahoe, this is a great way to watch Dad kick back and groove out! Each show begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Heavenly Village.

If he’s craving a throwback, the Spazmatics will play at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on June 17. This band recaptures the music of the 1980s, complete with the bad style. This show is for 21 years and older, so leave the kids at home for this one.

A lil’ competition: The Ridge Tahoe has everything you need for a fun-filled day! Challenge Dad to a game of mini golfing, tennis at one of our three outdoor tennis courts or a competitive game of ping pong or billiards. There are so many activities and services available for guests’ complimentary use at the Ridge Tahoe that you may never have to leave!

Take up a friendly game of tennis at an outdoor court at the Ridge.

Fill ‘em up: Regardless of the activity Dad decides to do this Father’s Day weekend, he should end it with a refreshing beer at the Bear Trap Lounge and a juicy prime rib dinner at the Bistro. The Father’s Day Special includes an eight-ounce prime rib served with creamy horseradish, potato cake, and grilled asparagus. The special is $25 per person and served from 5-8 p.m.

Happy Father’s Day from the Ridge Tahoe!
