Dine-in options make for delicious meals at The Ridge Tahoe

Memorable vacations packed with day and night time adventures usually have a dining component mixed in somewhere. After all, who doesn’t look forward to delicious meals prepared by someone else when traveling?

Whether your plan to spend a week or are checked in for the quick ski weekend, The Ridge Tahoe has a number of delicious and savory dining options.

The Hungry Bear offers sit down onsite dining for when you want to avoid the kitchen.

Dining is a major component during a stay and while most units include kitchens, the Ridge Tahoe gives guests plenty of on-site food and beverage options with the Hungry Bear Restaurant, Ridge Club Deli and the Bear Trap Lounge.

Whether you’ve spent the afternoon sight-seeing or carving turns at Heavenly, there’s nothing like a pint, hot toddy or cocktail to quench your thirst and a few tasty appetizers to cap off the day. The Bear Trap Bar is The Ridge Tahoe’s Happy Hour spot open daily in the afternoons.

The Hungry Bear offers seasonal menus that feature true Sierra cuisine – simple food prepared perfectly with locally-fresh ingredients to complement the resort’s peaceful and homey vibe. Open evenings for dinner, the restaurant serves  steak, seafood, chicken, pasta and lots of appetizer and beverage choices. To get an idea of what to expect while dining at the Hungry Bear, here’s The Ridge Tahoe’s Head Chef Stephen Moise’s cooking demonstration for New York Pepper Steak with Brandy Cream Sauce.

If you’re looking for something fast and light, there’s The Ridge Club Deli open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Deli offers a casual menu with waffles and bacon, homemade soups, made-to-order sandwiches and fresh salads. You can dine in, have it boxed up to go or as room service.
