Change Your Altitude and Attitude at Your Next Meeting
Is your office life stale? Is your team arguing and no longer working cohesively? If you’re finding it harder to concentrate and create quality projects, it may be time to change your attitude by changing your altitude and plan your next meeting at The Ridge Tahoe.
Forgo the cubicle in favor of breathtaking views at 7,500 elevation in the Ridge Tahoe Conference Center. There are a number of meeting spaces available to meet your needs whether you’re planning a retreat or a getaway for your employees. A meeting package can be arranged if you’re traveling from out of town.
The change in altitude will be the first step to changing team disarray into group harmony; the next step is team building. Promoting teamwork and building camaraderie is the goal when planning a meeting and team building event. Not only will you improve communication and relationships among team members, but you’ll also create lasting fun memories that will carry you through difficult times.
Just like everything else in Tahoe South, the kind of team building offered may be a bit atypical from what you are used to…
For example, if you are team building in winter, you can go skiing with easy ski in/out access via our Skier Express. Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing (with trails accessible at the resort), snowmobiling and horse drawn sleigh rides are a few other options for the adventurous.
Winter isn’t the only season that offers a number of active options for the group: go on a scavenger hunt around the resort (our tip is to pair up people who don’t know each other very well); bring out your competitive side with a game of ping pong or air hockey; mix up energy and improve the flow of a meeting with yoga and stretching. Other activities include cruises on Lake Tahoe, golfing, ATV tours, tennis, basketball, mini golf, guided hikes, mountain biking and much more.
Regardless of the activities you choose, your team will be recharged and ready to head back to work to get down to business.
Your Conference Coordinator will determine the perfect tasks for your unique team. Contact Marlena Freitas at (775) 588-3553, extension 4622 or email@example.com for more information.
