Driving Directions

From the West:

From Bay Area: I 80 east to Sacramento then US 50 east toward Placerville and South Lake Tahoe. Once in South Lake Tahoe, continue through town to the stateline, past the casinos to SR 207. Turn right up the road approximately 3 miles to Tramway Drive. Turn right. Road becomes a one way road, continue on the one way road. The road will make a sharp hairpin turn to the left. After this Heavenly will be on your right, followed by a large parking lot and then The Ridge Tahoe.

From Sacramento: US50 east toward Placerville and South Lake Tahoe. Follow the instructions above.

From the North and East:

From Reno: US 395 south through Carson City all the way to Minden to SR 88. Once on SR 88 continue approximately 2 miles to Mottsville Lane and turn right (there will be a sign that says to Lake Tahoe via Kingsbury Grade which is SR 207). At the stop sign, proceed straight across and up the grade to Tramway Drive and turn left. Follow Tramway Drive approximately 2 miles, The Ridge Tahoe will be on your right.
From the South:

From Southern California Los Angeles area: I 5 north to the 14 north. 14 north to US 395. US 395 north cross over into the state of Nevada and go through the towns of Gardnerville and Minden. At the end of town (Minden) look for SR 88 and signs that say to Lake Tahoe via Kingsbury Grade (SR 207). Turn left on SR 88 and go approximately 2 miles to Mottsville Lane and turn right. At stop sign proceed straight up SR 207 to the very top to Tramway Drive. Turn left on Tramway Drive. The Ridge Tahoe is approximately 2 miles after you turn off of SR 207 on the right.

From Southern California Inland Empire/San Diego: I 15 north to US 395 north. Once on US 395 follow the directions above for Los Angeles.

REMINDER: California state law requires ALL vehicles to carry chains from November 1 thru May and when snowy or icy conditions exist. Even if you have 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive you MUST still carry chains in your vehicle or risk a hefty fine. Nevada state law requires all vehicles to have chains or snow tires during the same time and weather conditions. Always carry chains when heading to the high country as they may be required at any time.
