Tahoe is a naturally romantic place: beautiful sunsets, intimate beach dates, and cozy nights spent by a roaring fire. With that said, we understand that it’s totally natural to want to spend the most romantic day of the year here! With a plethora of dreamy ways to spend Valentine’s Day with your paramour, Tahoe welcomes all to celebrate love on Feb. 14 at the Ridge Tahoe.
Situated at 7,500 elevation, the Ridge Tahoe is at the height of pampering and relaxation. Take the time to unwind and treat yourself to a spa treatment without having to leave the resort. The aptly named Elevation Spa provides facial treatments, massages, body scrubs and wraps, and spa packages to guests of the resort.
For the month of February, Elevation Spa offers the opportunity to give your sweetheart – and yourself – an affordable way to melt away the stress. When purchasing any treatment, you’ll receive 30% of your second treatment. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer and is not applicable on packages.
After your stress is reduced and you’re in a total state of relaxation, it’s time to dine. Valentine’s Day often comes with expectations and you certainly won’t be disappointed if your Feb. 14 is spent at the Hungry Bear Restaurant.
The Valentine’s Day dinner starts things off with the first course of Maine Lobster bisque and tarragon crème Fraiche. The second course includes a choice of artisan beef short rib ragu with housemade saffron noodles and asparagus-wild mushrooms; honey-mustard glazed half rack of lamb with parsnip mousse, green beans, and pomegranate compote; or pan-seared Maine diver scallops with lentils, wilted red chard and pear vinaigrette. Dinner hits a sweet note with a Meyers lemon mousse with raspberries and tuile.
Dinner is $70 per person and reservations are required. Call the Concierge to make reservations at 775-588-3553 ex. 3150.
Finish off the evening with a dip in a rooftop hot tub and one of those spectacular Tahoe sunsets. Happy Valentine’s Day from the Ridge Tahoe!
