After you’ve checked into the Ridge Tahoe and spent the day recreating or sightseeing, you’ll want to extend your activities to Tahoe South’s famed nightlife.
With an epicenter with star-studded entertainment, Grammy-winning musicians, live music, lounge acts, 24-hour gaming and an active bar and social scene, you can leave the driving to The Ridge Tahoe Shuttle and BlueGo, which will take you to and from the resort into South Shore.
You can also kick it closer to home at the Bear Trap Bar located inside the Ridge Tahoe for a happy hour of cocktail and appetizers.
Step outside and walk a few hundred yards and you’ll find the Fox & Hound Bar and Grill. Located 7,380 feet, the Fox & Hound has spectacular views, HD-TVs for sporting events as well as barbecue, burgers and beer.
From Zephyr Cove to Meyers, there’s a plethora of places to kick back, sip and adult beverage and enjoy the wilder side of South Shore. Bet the odds at any of Stateline’s casinos – Lake Tahoe is the place to be for Vegas-style gambling without the Vegas crowd. Try gambling at Lakeside Inn and Casino or Horizon Casino Resort then continue the party with a concert or at a club.
Looking for music venues? MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa offers star-studded music and comedy inside its theater as well as outside at their outdoor concert series in the summer. If you want to shake it, Opal Ultra Lounge offers DJs and drink specials Wednesday through Friday. If you’re in town Saturday night, check out Boogie Nights, the ultimate 70’s and 80’s dance party at Blu Nightclub.
Across the street at Harveys Lake Tahoe you’ll find side-splitting comedy at The Improv or live music and DJs at Cabo Wabo Cantina. In the summer you won’t want to miss their outdoor summer concert series which hosts acts such as Tim McGraw, FUN., Phish and Dave Matthews Band.
