Arriving to The Ridge Tahoe early for the weekend? Go where the locals go every Thursday evening through summer in South Lake Tahoe. Live at Lakeview is a free summer music series at Lakeview Commons that features music from top local, regional and national touring music acts.
The series takes place every Thursday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. through August 27 at Lakeview Commons located at the intersection of Highway 50 and Lakeview Avenue.
Music lovers of all ages are invited to enjoy this free live smoke-free music event that features delicious local food, beverages and unique vendors along the shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe at El Dorado Beach. With stunning views, stand up paddle board rentals, a beautiful sandy beach, amphitheater seating and beer garden, the event has turned into “the place” where locals meet up for live outdoor music on Thursdays.
Parking is limited and many locals bike or hike in. Check with The Ridge Tahoe concierge about shuttle buses that will take you from The Ridge Tahoe to Live at Lakeview.
This week’s lineup features Fish Out of Water and Taking Root, performing reggae, funk and rock music. The reggae continues July 23 with Rian Basilio and The Roosters plus Weapon and the July 30 show brings Dad’s LPs with rock and pop favorites and string-grass-folk music with Worn Out Welcome.
