Take the party to Tahoe South
Lucky for you a slew of celebrations will punctuate the evening of March 17 and you get to choose from a list of impressive venues and parties!
The Fresh Ketch will have food and drink specials 3 p.m. to close, plus live music 7 – 10 p.m.
McP’s Taphouse Grill has drink specials all day, live music with the Lost Mountain Band and loads of giveaways, as well as Guinness and Bud Light Girls as special guests.
Steamer’s Bar & Grill will host the St. Funkin Patrick’s Day Party with music starting at 9 p.m. Steamer’s will serve the traditional corned beef and cabbage along with their infamous corned beef tacos and drink specials all day long. You may even get some free schwag!
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe invites you to get “sham rocked” with food and drink specials in the Fire Break Kitchen & Bar and Park Prime Steakhouse.
Beach Retreat & Lodge hosts their St. Patrick’s Day Party in The Tavern, 6 – 10 p.m. Food and drink specials will be available and if you’re feeling the luck of the Irish, try your hand at their St. Patty’s Day Bingo and Beer Pong!

Celebrate close to your home away from home
The Ridge Tahoe will host St. Patrick’s Day festivities with meal and drink specials. The Ridge will be serving corned beef and cabbage 5:30-8:30 p.m. and a happy hour in the Tahoe Lounge, 4 – 8 p.m. on March 17.
While happy hour is adults only, the kids have an opportunity to join in the revelry at the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in the Kids Club. Children are invited to make crafts, play games and try to find the pot of gold from 9 – 10:30 a.m. then create a special treat in honor of St. Patrick from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Feel the luck all weekend long
If you don’t get your fill on Thursday, St. Patrick’s Day continues into the weekend with various entertainment.
Lake Tahoe Golf Course kicks off the weekend with the Super Sloppy Reubens St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, March 18. Happy hour begins at 5 p.m. and dinner with live music starts at 6 p.m. Chase their delicious reubens with Irish coffee or green beers on special.
Racers are wanted for the Snowshoe Cocktail Races March 19 at The Beacon Bar and Grill at Camp Richardson. Strap on snowshoes and try not to spill any drinks as you zig and zag through an obstacle course to win prizes from The Landing Resort & Spa, Deschutes Brewing Company and Cold Water Brewery and Grill among others.
